Yep you'll get that from everyone. The best thing to do is avoid all the risks you have control over and not stress over ones you can't. I also get crap about my daughter being in a rear facing carseat still at 15 months. One she is only 19lbs so legally she is not big enough to forward face, but also the law is a MINNIMUM not a requirement. She will be rear facing till she is at least 2 then we will reevaluate. Do what you and your wife feel is the best for you and your child.
