I think it is almost impossible to avoid things made in China. From the get go of having this crib, it didn't seem too stable because of the small legs. It sure looked pretty though and somewhat solid.
I guess you just need to look the whole crib over periodically...make sure bolts are tight..and also make sure there is some sort of teething guard on any rail once the baby can stand. We didn't know we had a little beaver chewing away in there..... We would have never noticed these stress cracks because they were out of plain sight.
Our new Sorelli crib,,,you can't even wiggle. If the house falls down I want to be in it. I have pics of it on myspace. |
