It is a non issue. Kids naturally learn all languages that are spoken at home and the language that is common to culture in which they live. A colleague of mine has a 4 year old who speaks 3 languages as fluently as a 4 year old can. English, French, and Moroccan.

Another colleague, only spoke Russian and Ukrainian until she was 12, and she currently speaks and writes English as well as anyone else.
