Hello,

Our daughter is 15 and currently has 3 F's and 1 D. I am in high contact with the teachers through email as far as what is due and missing and when tests are coming up. She is a very sweet and nice kid and not into any trouble scene, she is just very hard to motivate. When she gets a good grade she is always excited to show us and keeps saying she likes to get good grades. We always aske her if she needs help. As discipline we have grounded her until she can pull the grades up. I am at a loss at what else to do, if anything. I have read here and in other sites that sometimes "natural" consequences are the best. For example, she will fail, stay back, run the risk of not graduating with her friends, etc... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
