I got married when I was 20, I was totally ready. I've wanted to be a wife and mother as long as I can remember, but he however jumped into something he wasn't ready for, even though he insisted that he was. Things didn't work out for us. In his case he was never taught what a husband or father was and he lost his mother at an early age so he never learned about family. After our daughter was born things totally fell apart. I think it true that it totally depends on the level of maturity but I hope for my daughter that she wait. I don't want what happened to me to happen to her. Now I have this wonderful man in my life and I'm scared to death to marry him.
