I highly recommend that all parents watch the documentary My Flesh and blood. It is related to adoption and foster care.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0342804/

What I like about the documentary is that is not a make-me-feel-good story where people triumph against all odds to live happily ever after. It is a realistic story, where not everyone comes off looking perfect. Just people trying to do very good things, and doing their best as parents.

One of the very best documentaries I have ever seen on adoption is: "Who Are the DeBolts? And Where Did They Get Nineteen Kids?"

http://imdb.com/title/tt0076918/

The Debolts documentry can be viewed instantly over the internet on Netflix.com and they have it on DVD.

These documentaries are extremely inspiring stories about parents who are devoted to raising children that have mental and physical challenges.
