Default Re: In a shoebox. Is this normal?

I figured this thread was dead & buried.

The boy's back with his dad, probably for good. It was his decision as much as his mom's, and I didn't have to say a word.

The boy got caught in a huge morass of lies during a 3-day weekend that also included some pretty poor judgement on his part as well of that of his 18 yr old boyfriend.

Mom's conscience is clear that she's done the best she can. Home is a bunch more peaceful with him gone. Too bad he couldn't just behave himself for 4 more weeks and finish out his freshman year of High School right here. Instead he had to transfer. Got in a fight the first day there, etc. etc.

Stepmommy0221: I agree with Fallon. You have some good points, but you're pretty rough. And I don't like powerplays, ultimatums and confrontation - they're unpleasant and usually counter-productive. I made a commitment, and I'm determined to keep it. Yeah, gotta ask why sometimes but I have my principles.
