Years ago this shot was given to the higher social classes whereby some children developed autism behaviors. Now it is given to most children around 3 times before age 5.
Also, I know parents who have male children where one son was vaccinated with the prevnair shot and developed autism and in another cause the other son was not vaccinated with prevnair because he was older and did not have autism. The government does not want to admit to any wrongdoing and have to pay back billions of dollars so this prevnair shot is still out there hurting other children. Please spread the word so that no more innocent children develop autism.
Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about your son, Dina. I hope he is doing well.
Just to clarify, Prevnar is not a flu shot. It is used to prevent invasive Strep pneumoniae infections like meningitis. In 2001 the CDC recommended that all kids receive 4 doses, at 2, 4, 6, and 12-15 months.
There are 2 flu vaxes available in the US. One is Flumist, the nasal spray that contains live virus (so it can be shed to another person). The others, like Fluzone, use a killed virus.
For people who are concerned about mercury, Flumist and preservative-free Fluzone do not contain any mercury. The preservative-free form of Fluzone comes in pre-filled syringes for individual use. The form of Fluzone that contains mercury as a preservative is drawn up from a vial. Many health centers only provide the preservative-free form to kids under 2. If a person is concerned about mercury and wants to give her/his kid a flu shot, make sure to ask for the preservative free form (or Flumist, if the kid qualifies) and watch for a pre-filled syringe.
[Prevnar does not contain mercury. Since it came out, its manufacturer, Wyeth, has been hit with allegations and lawsuits concerning sloppy manufacturing and other problems. Here's a link to a recent Wall Street Journal health blog about Wyeth's problems:
