Children: 4yo girl 1yo boy
Default Split Parents Child Phone Calls

What are your thoughts on the frequency of phone calls to the other parent from the child? Twice a week, everyday, by appointment? My personal opinion is that my 4yo stepdaughter can call myself or her dad at least once everyday. We both work from home so that's not an issue. The mom wants my DH to set an appointment for phone calls twice a week. We recently bought my DD an LG Migo phone as her mom "said" she did not have a phone for about three weeks. DD can only call four preprogramed numbers. Since we dropped off DD to her mom the phone has been turned off. Mom had previously given the ok on two occasions to get the phone. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Am I completely off base to think this is a crap situation?
