My son is circ'd and it's not too cool to be told I am a bad mom because of that. I did what I thought was appropriate for my child. I didn't want him growing up being "different" and getting picked on. There isn't a man I know who isn't circ'd. I live in South Dakota, we are more of a conservative and old-fashioned state, farming communities and kids can be cruel. I talked with my doctor, I talked with his father, with my father, with my mother and came up with the desicion to have him circ'd. It's not something that can be changed, and I would do it again.

I understand you just want to shed some light on the subject but this is beyond "shedding light", you are blinding people.

I don't think a doctor can be held liable to criminal prosecution because he was following the PARENT'S ORDERS. He would not have done it had the parents not instructed him to do so.
