I would also suggest family counseling. Be advised though, find a counselor who specializes in children...not just a general counselor.
As far as the language your son used...our society is so full of things that harm our children, it's only a matter of time before any of our children hear these things. He may not understand what that word means, and exactly how bad of a word it is. I would maybe suggest telling him the origin of the word, and that word is never to be used. Maybe if understood how that word was derived, he would have a better understanding of why it's not to be said toward anyone. |
