Default HELP! Ear infections that don't go away!

My daughter is 14 months old. She had colic and almost never stopped crying from birth to 5 months. Just when I thought that was all over she got an ear infection. Who would have thought that I would sit here today and say that I would take the colic over this nightmare anyday. My baby has maybe been infection/fever free for a total of 6 weeks since she was 6 months old. She had over 7 ear infections 6 months and then we decided to get her the tubes a month ago. We decided for a long time if it would be worth the risks and the ear infection before the surgery lasted 3 weeks after being prescribed over 5 antibotics and having 3 shots. Well I thought these tubes were a god send until 3 weeks after the tubes I am sitting here again with a sick child. My pediatrician says that the puss in her ear is too thick to fit through the tube. My baby has been on antibotics this time around for 5 days and still has to be given tylenol at least once a day to control her fever. Nothing works and my kid is miserable and I am about to have a nervous break down. Is she ever going to get better?? She has been sick most of her life and is it ever going to end?? The surgery didn't work, the medicine doesnt work, and what kind of harm is this doing to her body to have a fever all the time and be sick?? The doctors say my kid is very rare that the tubes don't work but I just can't believe this is happening....is there anyone out there that has had this problem and what do I do about it?
