Re: HELP! Ear infections that don't go away! | | Hi everyone! Thanks so much for the input. Vivian has been to the ENT she is who put the tubes in her ears. I actually called her first when Viv got a fever two weeks after the tubes and this is the response I got, "She has the tubes there is NO way that it is an ear infection. The tubes would be draining so it has to be something else. Take her to the pediatrician if the fever persists becuase she might have a bug." So I waited and waited and then it happened again and we found out it WAS an ear infection. The Ped gave her the floacin drops for her ears, an antibotic, and zyrtec for allergys this time. However, Viv doesn't seem to have any sign of allergys so I don't know. I guess I am just going to have to keep taking her until they figure it out. It's just so frustrating to watch your baby wake up in the morning EVERYDAY and 20 mins later she has a fever. The nurses at the dr's office and the dr's are looking at me in amazement which makes me very uneasy because if these professionals don't understand it how am I supposed to? I just want the best for her and I just wish there was someone out there that could say "Hey I have been through this and my kid is 4 now and she just grew out of it and is much better." |
