My aunt and uncle adopted a girl from China who is now 9, and a boy from Vietnam who is now 6. The whole process I believe took at least a couple of years, and it was also rather expensive. It was completely worth it to them, though, because my aunt had been TTC for years with no success.

My aunt and uncle's children are very happy and well-adjusted, and they plan on visiting China and Vietnam someday so that they can see where they came from.
