We adopted both our children in the US. Their adoptions were not all that expensive, and we have not had any problems at all. I will say we had one adoption fall through, as the birth mom decided to keep her baby after she gave birth. We were devastated, but have a very strong faith and knew that God did not have it in his plans for us to have that baby.

We adopted our son at birth, and our daughter (out of foster care) at 18 months. Life is good! The most important suggestion I can give you is to use a reputable adoption attorney or adoption agency. Do not do it on your own.
