Default Re: Fever and Constipation

Hmmm, that's a hard one. What kind of test did they do? Did the look in her stomach for anything abnormal? Is it on the side? Does she have icky poos? I would take her off of dairy all together and see if that help. If she doesn't like soy mike, buy the chocolate soy (my son loves it). One thing with the fever, give her a warm/cold bath and giver her cold water. That will take the fever down without giving her meds that could upset her stomach. I don't like giving my kids meds unless I have to. I don't know if you talked to your doctor about giving her vitamin C, but that truly does help with them staying healthy and keeping them that way. Not the kids that have sugars in them. I would also have them seriously take a look in her stomach. I know it wont be pleasant for her or you, but they need to find out what is going on in there. Sometimes doctors don't take the time they should with people, so you need to tell them what you want them to do.
Sorry Hun, I am at a loss. I would not be pumping her full of meds, that could be also causing the pains. For her breathing, you can get the baby vics that wont be to strong and irritate the skin. Have her sleep with pillows under her back and head, that will help with breathing and coughing.
I know how hard it is to see your child in pain. I hope she gets better soon and hope something helps.
I am far from a doctor, but have kids and have been around kids all my life.
My son had a pain in his stomach, with a fever, but only lasted for a few days.
Take care.
