7 does sound a bit old to me, but I don't think it's weird. My kids have usually wiped themselves by about 3 and occasional help until about 4. I have a nephew who is 5 and his mom still wipes for him, but she thinks he'll be able to do it by the fall (they have to be able to wipe before they start kindergarten.) |
