Definitely talk with your doctor and do more research. I also suggest taking your DD to see an Allergy specialist. It just bothers me that you say, "it's just an allergy," because food allergies can be serious. The symptoms you described are symptoms of anaphylaxis, which can be life threatening. Sorry to come on so strongly, but my son almost died from a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) due to a nut allergy.
