Talking Interacting w/others her age, what’s a good age?

I understand how significant it is for children to interact with each other, what’s a good age where the child realizes someone of about the same age is in the room and are able to establish a connection with them? (i.e. giggling at one another, maybe sharing toys).

Sorry! I’m just really excited to see her expand her personality and also trying to convince her mother it’s an ok idea to have her maybe enrolled in a play group or something of that nature.
