Arrow Need Help with Infant/Toddler class project

Hi everyone!

I am currently going to school for a degree in Early Childhood education. I am working on a project for which I have to make a brochure for safety items (to childproof a home). I would like to get some input on products that you highly recommend, as well as those that were a complete waste of money.

So far I have been told that the outlet covers that you need to squeeze the sides to open are a must-have, as well as the baby gates that anchor into the wall. I was also told that cabinet locks are easy for a toddler to figure out, so you are better off just putting dangerous items up high.

Agree? Disagree?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for items for all rooms in the house, particularly the bathroom and kitchen.

Thanks!

Pam
