LOL, GW! DH and I were married for 10 yrs. before I figured out that he would never take vacations unless *I* planned them. He's a workaholic and averages 80 hrs. a week. Life is too short and our kids are growing up quickly. We agree on a vacation budget and a general location and time frame and I do all the planning. The first time I did this he was very reluctant, but during our vacation he thanked me profusely for *making* him relax because he was enjoying himself, despite the fact he was still doing work on his laptop.
Now I make a point of planning at least one vacation every year. Hmmm, what should we do next year?? LOL!
