Ooo...that's a tough one. I've been raised to where a child should have one mom and one dad, you know? A child being raised on purpose by one or the other? I don't know. I mean, there are single parents all over the world doing that now..raising their child on their own - and some of them are just fine. I think it's her choice really. I'm not sure if I agree with it though. Single parenting is hard enough - and I feel a child needs a balance of a mom and dad. I started watching this one show called 'Must Love Kids', about single moms dating again and in the first episode, it introduced the mom and their children and man - they definitely have their hands full! I can only imagine doing it alone. (You can actually watch the episode online for free on TLC's website).
I can sort of understand where she's coming from though. I can't WAIT to have children. I'm more excited about having a child than getting married. To have someone love you SO Much, and completely unconditional - just amazing. |
