I think my daughter is just now beginning the terrible twos. She just turned 26 months a few days ago, and she's been throwing tantrums over any little thing. Usually if we take something away from her at bedtime (she sleeps with a bear, and sometimes tries to take an extra toy with her). Today she's been getting upset whenever I try to give her something to eat, which is very odd.

The unfortunate thing is that she is very loud. She has an ear-piercing scream, and she instantly goes to that for every tantrum (even ones that last a few seconds). The other night, one of my neighbors (no one will admit to who it was) called the cops on me because of how loud she is. I've been incredibly paranoid since then every time she gets upset, because I don't want anyone to assume that I'm abusing her. I'm guessing that's already the assumption people have because of how loud and how often her tantrums are getting.
