IMO It's not only money, it's the point. It's about taking responsibility for your own actions. He did his job, he stayed with his lieing cheating wife, he loved the innocent child as his own. He should not be "responsible" for anything more. So now step parents are going to be held responsible for child support? It's the same thing to me. I have yet to see a court make a step parent pay child support.
