I agree, I also have a little girl she'll be 5 this month and just started K, her current BFF is a boy they've been buds for about a yr now. We are neighbors and they are in the same class so their like 2 peas in pod. It's fun to watch them together because they will go a few days at a time were they play all girl things but mostly it's boy or gender neutral things. I would say if she's happy and healthy let her be
