Lovely post, and so very true! I loved every single minute of being pregnant (even when I was so sick) I loved feeling that connected to my son, and I still miss it. Those first few days after he was born was tough because I just felt empty. I was so used to having him with me constantly, and knowing he was safe and warm.
I don't think my next pregnancy will be quite the same since my attention will be diverted with my 2yo running about. |
