There is no blame, just events and consequences. Regardless of the reason a person is kicked out of a living situation, they will reevaluate their ability to cope with further interaction, assuming they have no conditions that would prevent them from doing so. Making decisions based on the information at hand, and their ability to move past the event as they see fit, are signs of maturity, just as the parents made decisions based on information they had.
