Default Anything wrong with pedialyte?

Hey threre guys. I was just wondering if there's anything wrong with giving my infant (9 months old) pedialyte for no reason? He's not sick or anything, which its used to rehydrate. When he's thirsty I will mix about 4oz pedialyte and 2oz of apple juice or whatever to water down the juice. I could use water, but pedialyte has more hydrating factors in it that and its hot durning the summer.

I was just wondering if there would be any problems by giving him pedialyte?? Or should I just use water?

I've been giving it to him like that for the past month or so and he's been fine with it (ie no diarrhea or anything like that).

Thanks!!
