I've read all the Harry Potter books, seen most of the movies and enjoyed them all. My kids have seen the first two movies, but that's it. The 3rd movie (Prisoner of Azkaban - PG) would scare the crap out of them, so we have not allowed them to see it. They haven't seen the others simply because they are PG-13, and I know they are too scary for my kids.
The rule in our house is that you have to be at least 13 to see PG-13 movies. R movies are absolutely not an option. Yes, we are strict in this area, but we know our kids and feel these movies are not appropriate for them. |
