A few years ago they added new scenes that were cut from the original movie, you think the original Exorcist was scary, they take it a new level of scary. Most of the new scenes are with Regan (the 12 year old) being possessed and saying things that couldn't be said in a movie back in 1973. Even by today's standards it is pretty chilling.
