I was surprised when they handed me this kid who'd been in my belly so long and I was not instantly smitten. He was red and ugly and I didn't recognize him. It turns out I'm not so much an infant mom - I'm happiest when they turn about 18 months, but of course i didn't know that then. It also didn't prevent me from having more! |
