Finding Nemo! That's a great example of a flawed father! Why didn't I think of it? Maybe because the father in question has fins, but hey, I'm no finophobe. Thanks for the reminder.
How about The Santa Clause? Surprisingly, it does a good job with the father. I also like Tim Allen's father role in Joe Somebody.
