School starts today. I can't believe it at all. I really thought I was ready for this but now that it here I think I might lose my mind . I can't help but think how sad it is that my baby is going to school when it seems like just yesterday I was rocking her to sleep. Hope everyone has a great start of the yr, I know we'll do great once we settle into a school routine, I just have to realize my little girl is growing up. Hope all goes well today I'm going to do my best not to cry

I hear you on this one. My baby started kindergarten last week. He really seems to enjoy it so far but man is it taking Mom awhile to get used to it. I just cannot believe it is already here.

today was more of an open house, I went with her to meet the teacher and check out the class and stuff. Tomorrow will be the real test because it will be her first real day of school. It comes way to quick. I feel like I blinked and missed everything somewhere

I hope your daugher is looking forward to it. Some kids are little afaird at first, but generally after the first week or so, they love it.

Our daughter started middle school today and was up before we were at 5am. As expected she changed her mind at the last minute as to what she was going to wear. She's been extremely excited about going to a new school, meeting new kids and teachers, as well as seeing friends she has not seen since the last day of school last June. A couple of her friends came by around 7am and they walked the half mile to the school stopping by a few other houses along the way. Later, I am sure she'll give us a minute by minute account of pretty much everything.
