Default Cavity in baby tooth molar?

If it's not one child it's another. We were just at the dentist for a cleaning and their yearly check up that was less then a year ago. They brush and rinse with mouth wash.
Today my littlest twin is complaining of her back tooth hurting. I looked with a flash light and there is discoloration plus a hole!! She for sure has a cavity. How in the heck did it get there so fast.
Will they drill it and fill it? Will they pull it? It's a baby molar. I'm freaking out. I know how bad a cavity can hurt. I had a wisdom tooth exposed once.
Help. My poor little one. I don't like her to hurt.

The other twin has an appt with the specialist on Monday to figure out if we are going through with surgery. The antibiotics haven't touched her sinus issue. Any advice.?

As far as the sinus issus, is it Sinusitis? Or does she have ear, throat isues?I'm sure you are aware the ears, nose and throat are all joined.
As far as the tooth, I am not sure. my 7 year old just found out he had a cavity at the dentist last week. It is due to be filled in 2 weeks. Poor boy. Except his is causing no pain...I wonder why they don't wait until it falls out? He's almost 8 and those teeth will come out soon, right? Well, I am a nurse not a dentist...so I dont wanna make incorrect statemets...LOL! Best of luck with your daughter

With the cavity they are not going to pull it because it should stay in until she's nine years old, she's six.

The other twin does have severe sinusitis but nothing is helping it. She just finished round three of another antibiotic and she's still has the cough but can not blow her nose cause it's so thick. She goes in on Monday and scope her. They may have to put her under and dig out all the crap and clean her sinus cavity's out I am not looking forward to it.

Aw, I have sinusitis also. Mine causes severe migraines and constant stuffyness. I've tried the antibiotics and they just work temporaily. Too many can make you resist them or cause MYRSA so be careful. Let me know how she makes out

I think it's a typo for MRSA = methicillin-resistant Staph aureus. Methicillin is an antibiotic that has been used to treat staph infections, but some S. aureus have evolved that aren't affected by methicillin or similar drugs. This used to only be seen in hospitals and similar places, but lately it has shown up outside of hospitals (and in this situation it is often referred to as "community-acquired MRSA" to distinguish it from hospital-based MRSA infections). One way to prevent antibiotic resistance in bugs is to complete the entire dose of the antbiotic. The other big way, of course, is for docs to be very careful in deciding whether to write a script for antibiotics.

Here's a link to a WebMD page on MRSA, if you are interested. I didn't read the whole thing, but this usually is a decent site: link

hmmm I don't see how sinusitis and staph are related especially in a six year old. I won't allow her to take another round of antibiotics.
