yes it does, here you go

http://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_.../mmr_ii_pi.pdf

of course you ahve read this right? I mean all doctors are required by law to give you this sheet so you can read it, if you ask. All parents want to know the safety of what is being put in their child body

Etc.
The information from Merck's monograph might be more helpful as it gives some clue as to the frequency of reported problems: Link

Additional clinical and post marketing data from previous formulations of monovalent and of the combined measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines manufactured by Merck & Co., Inc. without regard to causality or frequency are available and are summarized below. These data were reported based on more than 400 million doses distributed worldwide.

COMMON
Burning and/or stinging of short duration at the injection site.

OCCASIONAL
Body as a whole:
Fever (38.3°C or higher).
Skin: Rash, or measles-like rash, usually minimal but may be generalized. Generally, fever, rash, or both appear between the 5th and the 12th day.

RARE
Body as a whole:
Mild local reactions such as erythema, induration and tenderness; sore throat, malaise, atypical measles, syncope, irritability.
Cardiovascular: Vasculitis.
Digestive: Parotitis, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Hematologic/Lymphatic: Regional lymphadenopathy, thrombocytopenia, purpura.
Hypersensitivity: Allergic reactions such as wheal and flare at injection site, anaphylaxis and anaphylactoid reactions, as well as related phenomena such as angioneurotic edema (including peripheral or facial edema) and bronchial spasm, urticaria in individuals with or without an allergic history.
Musculoskeletal: Arthralgia and/or arthritis (usually transient and rarely chronic [see below Other]), myalgia.
Nervous/Psychiatric: Febrile convulsions in children, afebrile convulsions or seizures, headache, dizziness, paresthesia, polyneuritis, polyneuropathy, Guillain-Barré syndrome, ataxia, aseptic meningitis (see below), measles inclusion body encephalitis (MIBE) (see CONTRAINDICATIONS). Encephalitis/encephalopathy have been reported approximately once for every three million doses.19 In no case has it been shown that reactions were actually caused by vaccine. The risk of such serious neurological disorders following live measles virus vaccine administration remains far less than that for encephalitis and encephalopathy with wild-type measles (one per two thousand reported cases).
Respiratory System: Pneumonitis (see CONTRAINDICATIONS), cough, rhinitis.
Skin: Erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, vesiculation at injection site, swelling, pruritis.
Special Senses: Forms of optic neuritis, including retrobulbar neuritis, papillitis, and retinitis; ocular palsies, otitis media, nerve deafness, conjunctivitis.
Urogenital: Orchitis.

Other
Death from various, and in some cases unknown, causes has been reported rarely following vaccination with measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines; however, a causal relationship has not been established in healthy individuals (see CONTRAINDICATIONS). No deaths or permanent sequelae were reported in a published post-marketing surveillance study in Finland involving 1.5 million children and adults who were vaccinated with M-M-R® II during 1982 to 1993.20

Arthralgia and/or arthritis (usually transient and rarely chronic), and polyneuritis are features of infection with wild-type rubella and vary in frequency and severity with age and sex, being greatest in adult females and least in prepubertal children.

Chronic arthritis has been associated with wild-type rubella infection and has been related to persistent virus and/or viral antigen isolated from body tissues. Only rarely have vaccine recipients developed chronic joint symptoms.

Following vaccination in children, reactions in joints are uncommon and generally of brief duration. In women, incidence rates for arthritis and arthralgia are generally higher than those seen in children (children: 0 - 3%; women: 12 -20%),18 and the reactions tend to be more marked and of longer duration. Symptoms may persist for a matter of months or on rare occasions for years. In adolescent girls, the reactions appear to be intermediate in incidence between those seen in children and in adult women. Even in older women (35 to 45 years), these reactions are generally well tolerated and rarely interfere with normal activities.

Default Re: CDC: U.S. Seeing Worst Measles Outbreak In 6 Years

For comparison, here are some possible complications of the diseases:

From the CDC: Mumps
What are other clinical findings or complications that may be associated with mumps?
In 50% – 60% of cases of clinical mumps, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pleocytosis occurs. However, clinical evidence of meningitis or encephalitis appears in < 10% of patients with mumps. Serious sequelae are rare. For example, deafness after mumps occurs in 0.5 to 5.0 per 100,000 cases. Death occurs in < 2% of mumps encephalitis cases.

Orchitis occurs in about 25% of adolescent and adult males with mumps and is rare in prepubescent males. One or both testes may be involved, with lower abdominal pain, fever, and chills and possibly epididymitis. The involved testis and adjacent skin become swollen and red. Orchitis occurs within 1 week of parotitis and usually lasts 4 days. Infertility is rare even when both testes are involved.

Oophoritis occurs in 5% of post pubertal females with mumps and is characterized by pelvic pain and tenderness. Infertility generally does not occur. Mastitis may also occur.

Less common complications of mumps infection include pancreatitis, myocarditis, arthritis, thyroiditis, deafness, and spontaneous abortion.

From the Mayo Clinic: Measles
Measles usually lasts about 10 to 14 days. In some parts of the world, the disease is severe, even deadly. In Western countries, that's usually not the case. People with measles may become quite ill, but most people recover completely. However, complications may include:
  • Ear infection. Measles causes an ear infection in nearly one out of every 10 children.
  • Encephalitis. About one in 1,000 people with measles develops encephalitis, an inflammation of the brain caused by a viral infection, which may cause vomiting, convulsions and, rarely, coma. Encephalitis can closely follow measles, or it can occur years later during adolescence as a result of a slow virus infection. The late form, called Dawson's encephalitis, is rare.
  • Pneumonia. As many as one in 15 with measles gets pneumonia, which can be life-threatening.
  • Diarrhea or vomiting. These complications are more common in infants and small children.
  • Bronchitis, laryngitis or croup. Measles may lead to inflammation of your voice box (larynx) or inflammation of the inner walls that line the main air passageways of your lungs (bronchial tubes).
  • Pregnancy problems. Pregnant women need to take special care to avoid measles, because the disease can cause miscarriage, premature labor or babies with low birth weights.
  • Low platelet count (thrombocytopenia). Measles may lead to a decrease in platelets — the type of blood cells that are essential for blood clotting.
From the Mayo Clinic: Rubella
Complications

Rubella is a mild infection. Once you've had the disease, you're usually permanently immune. About 70 percent of adult women with rubella experience arthritis in the fingers, wrists and knees, which generally lasts for about one month. In rare cases, rubella can cause an ear infection (otitis media) or inflammation of the brain (encephalitis).

However, if you're pregnant when you contract rubella, the consequences for your unborn child may be severe. Up to 85 percent of infants born to mothers who had rubella during the first 11 weeks of pregnancy develop congenital rubella syndrome. This can cause one or more problems, including growth retardation, cataracts, deafness, congenital heart defects and defects in other organs. The highest risk to the fetus is during the first trimester, but exposure later in pregnancy also is dangerous.

Fortunately, an average of fewer than 10 babies are born with congenital rubella syndrome in the United States each year. Rubella occurs most frequently in adults who never received vaccinations because they came from other countries where the MMR vaccine isn't widely used.

that is the point isn't it? THat their are risks to both. Most people who contract measles naturally do not have horrid side effects that reaquire hospitalization. Most just have an itchy rash that goes away in a week.
