Maybe Barry is not circumcised so you are biased, but my girl friends have always thought they looked funny. I feel bad for guys who have them. :-P They are not the norm in America, and therefore they are viewed as different and funny. When they become the norm, perhaps that view will change. >>>>I'd rather my child not have cosmetic surgery at one day old, and teach him that people who make fun of others are just uninformed and don't know any better...but that's just me. lol....at one day old, you're not teaching your kid anything. | ||

in reponse to post #22, not above post yeah that's true. but for him it's a bit different. because he was born with a partial circ you can't tell he wasn't unless you flip it up and look underneath. As far as what I was saying about the women's point of view. Sorry TMI... his penis is slightly crooked and they seem to say that the best experienced they've had have involved a crooked man...lol but like I said I was all for it at birth, it's waiting until he's older the swayed my decision Last edited by fallon : 09-12-2007 at 11:45 AM. | ||

To echo Teresa, more and more parents today are deciding not to circumcise their sons. I don't think boys with foreskins in the locker room is going to be a big deal because it is becoming more popular. Besides, I teach my kids that God makes people in all different colors, shapes and sizes. ALL deserve respect and it's not cool to make fun of someone because they are different for whatever reason. FWIW, I got married at 24 and my priorities for finding a husband revolved around stability and being a good father, etc.. The last thing I was worried about was whether he was circumcised or not. | ||

lol ok find me some women who think that any penis is pretty? Penis's are not that atractive looking sorry fellows. Do we hetero women enjoy them, of course but thye are still well... not pretty. Only 45% of newborns this year so far have been circ's.. so majority of boys in the locker room with not be circ'd as well. And you know when the penis is doing its "job" they all look the same anyways!
