Default Gagging on milk

My littlest twin who will be seven soon is starting to not drink milk. She will drink a few sips but then will start to gag. This is all new. She's a picky eater as it is. She loves healthy things. She is not big on pasta's or cheese. How else can I get calcium into her?

When I was younger I was only able to drink goats milk. I have somewhere between an allergy and lactose intolerance. Might be something to look into with a Dr. if its other than she simply doesnt like it

I heard something about there being a lot of calcium in orange juice.

Yes, and you can actually purchase OJ that has added calcium.

We have the OJ but that's not enough. She is not intolerant she just doesn't like it.

I also buy calcium enriched butter, but that's not much unless she is a butter fiend.

Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot you could buy it with the added calcium. That must have been what I was thinking.

Maybe you could get some strawberry or chocolate quick? Or ovaltine or something for more flavor so she'll like it? I know that adds sugar, I guess I'm just looking for a way to get her to drink the milk (since it seems like you want her to).

Or I guess...there's always vitamins? Like Flintstones vitamins?

I was told the vitamins were not enough that she has to drink one cup of dairy a day. I wonder if I put some of my fat free milk in the strawberry milk if she'll drink it that way. She doesn't like the thick texture I think.

In case of her not liking it ... friend of mine did just that ... flavored milk .. banana etc, and you dont have to buy the commercial stuff .. make your own easily

Yeah, I didn't think of that. Make your own with natural stuff that you can just smoosh or squeeze in there! Even better!
