hey there, my dd just started Kindergraten and we have to bring snack on Tues. I need some ideas for a good snack for 20 kids. | ||

Carrots and a dipping sauce apples and yoguart (more kid friendly) ummm........ I'll try to think of more

I think yogurt is a good idea too. It is like pudding, only better (that was what we told our daughter when she was young  )string Cheese and\or Ritz crackers? The obvious is to stay away from anything with sugar and is processed food\candy. I would guess the school probably already has a list of "Please don't bring...." thanks guys, keep the ideas coming I'll keep them in mind since we all bring one once a month and on birthdays, I like the yogurt one a lot things like that are fun for kids as well as healthy | ||

Stay away from Peanuts as well. Many kids have peanut allergies these days. Some schools have even banned peanut butter from school.

thanks, popcorn is a great idea, although I think the senior center comes once month with a popper and takes it to all the classrooms, I would just have to make sure it isn't the same day | ||

A fruit or veggie tray. Wow, I'm surprised schools are still doing group snacks with all the allergies these days. Both my kids are severely allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. | ||

that's true, I forget things like that, I know I shouldn't but I'm always by my kids side when they eat. I forget when they aren't with me others may not pay such close attention | ||
