its not about being defensive. Its about cramming down peoples throat. Look I don't think vaccines are the cure all and I surely don't believe they are evil either. I think that their are some advantages to some of them. Heck if something like bubonic plkague came back, I might consider vaccinating my cdaughter against it. Does that mean I am for vaccines. No actually I think that there are too many "required" ones and that we give way to many to begin with.
You ahve to look at both sides, There are some advantages to vaccines. Me personally, I think the risk outweigh the benefit, but that is for each parent to decide WHEN they no the risks

but not all parents feel that way and that should be respected. You fail to do that which causes people to stop listening to you. what if your own children grow up and decide for themselves that vaxing their child is the RIGHT choice to make? how will you handle that?

ETA: I was refering to yulia not kaytee...we tend to type at the same time...lol

I'll make sure they know about vaccines at least as much as I do, so they know what's in there and how it works, which will help them to make an informed choice (whatever choice that be). I'm having my chance to be a parent (with all its good things and screw ups) and they will simply have theirs...

Don't you get it? Your attitude makes people so angry they figure your arguments don't have a leg to stand on, because smart people who really believe in their own convictions are also able to convince others of their beliefs. Which you, just don't seem to be able to do.

There's a way of convincing people that's not all "check out this video of vaccinations/circumcisions/Armageddon - it's too gory for words, ooo...."

Shouldn't this be on the debate board? This has always been a controversial issue. I did my own research and did what I feel is right for MY family. That's all I'm going to say.

it would be on the debate board, but this was suppose to be just about the information. Of course now we are debating how it is given.
