pertussis is dangerous by 6 months of age (until then the set of shots isn't complete anyway), especially for babies under 2 months of age, since they don't have a couch reflex well developed yet.

By the way, there are outbreaks of pertussis (whooping cough) among vaccinated for pertussis kids ALL THE TIME. And in spite of the lame “vaccinated kids get it milder” excuse, multiple surveys actually showed the opposite, that healthy unvaccinated kids actually get it much milder that vaccinated kids do.

Also, Ari, I hope you realize that taking stats from CDC (the organization that is mostly behind the whole vaccine pushing craze, that always tries to keep people in fear of VPDs) it’s like trusting info from a sales person LOL!

Normal healthy kids just do NOT due from measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, pertussis, rotavirus, etc. Few times people who researched vaccines professionally were digging deeper into those stats of CDC and the findings were not surprising, because most of those unvaccinated kids that actually died from those MILD childhood diseases were TOO SICK to even receive vaccines on the first place (immunodeficiency, bad seizures, spina bifida, etc), but of course CDC just “forgot” to mention this “little” fact.

could you point me to where it says the kids were sick before and not able to get vax'd?...I'm not picking on you, I really want to know

Music you wanted to know where i got some of the info, well here is one I found very quickly. This is from 2000, as it is hard to find stats on this type of stuff without actual scientific studies(medical preoffecionals can only read on line)
and ways here is the link of the exact cases of deaths and I quoted the big part

A total of 17 deaths of persons having pertussis symptom onset in 2000 were reported to CDC by 12 states. All deaths occurred among infants born in the United States, with onset of pertussis symptoms at age <4 months.

Not like that, I wanted to know how you found out she had that. Did she have signs and symptoms? I mean that must have been scary. I was wondering what made them think of that.

ayways sorry I thought you wanted to know where i got the info.

I will make this as short as possible.

We took her in for her 2 month apt. they gave her the "routine" shots (DTaP, Hep B, PCV, IPV, umm.... all those)
well with in about 2 hours she started to scream for hours upon hours!! Would not sleep, would not do anything. I was able to get her to nurse luckily. About 3 or 4 hours after the shots, she started to run a fever. It got to 101, so we called her ped. they said to give her tylonal and what dosage, so we did. soon after that it sky rocketed to 104.8. So again I call her ped. This time they tell me, "she's fine, normal reaction, don't worry about it unless its 105.5!!!" me being the "I'm a good patient and will listen to my doc, instead of being a smart parent and taking her straight to the emergency room, listened to that damn doc. Finally got her to go to sleep around 9 that night, sometime during hte night she broke out in big hives, from head to toe!! All over her face, neck, arms, feet, everywhere! I called the doc again. This time they say "oh shots don't cause hives like that so its something different. Don't worry about. I again should have not listened and taken her to the ER. Stupid parent I was!!

so fast forward through 4 docs that insisted she be vaccinated even though she had teh severe reaction. We found a doc that refused to vax her until we knew what happened. So she went to an allergist. THey skin pricks on her back of the vaccines. She had a slight reaction to the DTaP. None to any of the others. This is when yet another idiot doc, who cares nothing about individual patients, tells me "well she had a moderate reaction to the DTaP test, so we want to go ahead and give her the vaccine here, and if she goes into anaphylactic shock, we can handle that" so......

thats the story, any questions. lol

I don't have the links...for a change LOL!

But I've been on a Vaccination forum for over two years now where some people research vaccines for many many years, some to the point where they were invited on TV and radio shows and wrote books about the subject.
I just remember numerous of times where they actually tracked down the people/kids who died from VPDs (from the CDC record) and majority of them had serious health conditions that were contradictory to vaccination. THAT is WHY their bodies could not win the fight over the mild childhood diseases that healthy kids have no problem with (especially healthy unvaccinated kids).

I'm so sorry Kaytee. I can only imagine how scary it was for you and your husband...

I just wanted to add that Tylenol actually makes vaccine reaction worse. I don't remember the details why, but I remember reading it multiple times. If you guys are interested, I can post on the other Vaccination forum and the ladies who know much more than I do can answer this.

Screaming for hours is a bad reaction to DTaP. DTaP is known for that.

From what you described, on my opinion, your daughter was very lucky to not become another statistic of SIDS. So many hugs to you, mama...

as a child I reacted to the DTP shot and my mother never gave me another vax after that...She says I was screaming over and over and wouldn't stop. She also say I was yelling "mama" and fighting her so it was as if I had no idea who she was

yulia, believe me we have thought about how bad it could have turned all the time. We also know that most severe reaction sget worse with more doses, which is why regardless of the docs saying they are ok with, we are not

Sounds scary, Kaytee. I had an anaphylactic reaction to an antibiotic and, even though I knew what was happening as soon I broke out in hives and swelled up like a balloon, I was frightened.

Did you ever discover the ingredient that caused the reaction?
