I don't know either. And thank God your child handles them well, as most kids probably do. Soe don't thiough. And even the ones that don't handle them well are still forced to get more. That makes me mad.

We are going to. She is getting a medical for the DTaP though so thats easy. I am luck y though because we went through 3 docs that all said they wanted to vax her again and then a specialist who said they were"comfortable giving it to her at the hospital that way if she has anaphylactic shock she will be at the hospital already" Yay that didn't fly with me... her new doc (as of this past year) will give her a medical waiver. She only needs one till she is 7 though then its no longer required. The MMR she will get an exemption that I have to get if they can't get it to her singly. If they can then she will get that one...just slowly and on my schedule. Her doc will write exemptions for that time as well. She will most likely have to get an exemption for chicken pox as I am not giving that one unless she doesn't get it natuallry before like 12. She will also need one for HPV as well.

As you have experienced, however, it is possible to get an exemption from vax requirements.

The exemption requirements vary by state (Google the name of your state with "vaccination exemption"). All permit medical exemptions so kids with medical issues don't have to be forced to get the vax. But usually the standard for a medical exemption is high, and a parent may have to try a few docs before finding one who agrees.

Most states also permit other grounds for exemption, including philosophical.

thats not th epoint, th epoint is that doctors tell parents that they have to. Not one of the 3 I saw ever said I could get a waiver, they all said "she has to have them or she can't go to school" period. There was no option for us until I looked into it and finally said, no she will not be vaxed again

oh I was also told by one that she never had a reaction and that it was all coindense. hmmm not very many 8 week old babies spike 105 fever, scram for hours a=upon hours and break out in hives within a few hours of vaccinations

Unfortunately, in probably good 90% of vaccine reactions parents ar etold that this is just a coindense .

I'm on the fence with this one. Nolan will not be getting the chicken pox shot. I don't care if I have to host a "pox party." lol I'm glad I don't have to worry about the HPV shot either. But I don't trust myself enough to decide what other vaccs to skip. I won't give him the flu shots, either..but the rest I trust my doctor on. He gives me detailed things to watch for a reaction and Nolan hasn't had any of them. And the doctor let's me bring Nolan in for "silly" things like apparently completely normal poop. What I'm saying is he addresses my concerns and hesn't ever sent me away for what was "no big deal" so I trust his judgement.

Hi,
I just want to warn as many parents as possible to not vaccinate their child with the new vaccine prevnair (flu shot for infants). I truly believe this new vaccine has caused my children to develop autism. It is a new shot they introduced around 2000 and this was when a influx of autism cases arised. Years ago this shot was given to the higher social classes whereby some children developed autism behaviors. Now it is given to most children around 3 times before age 5.
Also, I know parents who have male children where one son was vaccinated with the prevnair shot and developed autism and in another cause the other son was not vaccinated with prevnair because he was older and did not have autism. The government does not want to admit to any wrongdoing and have to pay back billions of dollars so this prevnair shot is still out there hurting other children. Please spread the word so that no more innocent children develop autism.
