I just gave her the suppository so hopefully she'll sleep and I'll give her another dose of anti biotics. Poor thing. Sorry to hear you went through this Hannah's mommy, it's scary. | not all little red dots in the throat are strep. Its uncommon for kids under 2 (not referring to your own child) but when Nichole had a sore throat (18 months old or so) I took her for hte little red dots in her throat. They tested her for strep just in case (it was negative) but they did test it because of the dots.
I do hope your dd is feeling better today |

I think it gets better when they go off to college and have to be sick on their own. That's only a little more than a decade away, Sha'. I'm lucky: I only have half a decade to go for the second one. Oldest child will go next year if she gets into the school she's applied to. Wish her luck.

Children: 4 Year Old Daughter | Re: Does it ever end? Sickness? | | It seems that this has been one of the worst seasons for illness. We've been through bronchitis, pneumonia, ear infections and all kinds of bugs in between. Ugh. |

My mom grew up in Houston. I'll second your comments about this season. My 15 yo DD had a sore throat for about two months straight. Poor thing.
Her chorus teacher cancelled a concert for the first time in her career b/c the kids were sick so much that they didn't have time to learn the songs.
The ineffective flu shots didn't help.

To make it worse, this is her first year in preschool so she is exposed to all the cute little peti dishes up there. |

Is winter over yet?
