Children: One boy 8, twin girls 7. | Does it ever end? Sickness? | | So last night at 3am my littlest twin wakes me up with a high fever and her tummy hurting and a sore throat. I took her temp and it was 105.2 OMG I was panicked. The first time in my whole mothering life I did NOT have Tylonol or Motrin. I put her in a bath and then drove to find something open and finally found a little store and bought some generic fever reducer. I had to leave the other two sleeping alone. That freaked me out because I NEVER leave them alone. They had school so I didn't want to wake them. I let my son know just in case his sister woke up. I am exhuasted so I'm off to the Dr's yet again today this morning. I really don't think mom's that want more then one child think about sick season. So now this one has it, the other one is complaining of a sore throat (she's next) and my son HOPEFULLY won't get it but he usually does after they're done. So everybody bad rep Fooser today while I'm gone that'll make me feel better...lol |

Children: One boy 8, twin girls 7. | Re: Does it ever end? Sickness? | | I took her to the Dr and she tested positive for Strep throat. I have antibiotics for her but she is not keeping them down. I guess I am going to go buy feverall (the suppositories) I bought Motrin and Tylonol and gatorade. I cancelled her twin sisters appt for the ENT. The little one said her tummy was hurting which it's been hurting so I didn't think anything off it, then right when I was about to go over the bridge she threw up! So I turned the car around and headed back home. She's on my bed sleeping now. Her fever made me nervous as hell too. This all happend at 3am and I hit panick mode. I was half asleep and had to think quick. I never want to go through that again. |

Took her to the ER, because I'm paranoid like that, and it was strep. she wasn't even complaining of throat hurting.

Children: One boy 8, twin girls 7. | Re: Does it ever end? Sickness? | | The PA told me to look in her throat and asked me if I saw the little red dots. I had no idea strep had little red dots. I didn't know you threw up with strep either. I just gave her the suppository so hopefully she'll sleep and I'll give her another dose of anti biotics. Poor thing. Sorry to hear you went through this Hannah's mommy, it's scary. |

 | Re: Does it ever end? Sickness? | | It's on his back and tummy and neck and behind his ears. The nurse I called said it's probably because he's ending a bug. He actually seems better today that's why I was surprised to see a rash.
