I've only had one, my dear Gonzo, may he R.I.P. Unfortunately people get them, read nothing about them, and then they end up dying of preventable things...

One girl I knew was feeding her ferrets fruits and veggies and was wondering why he wasn't doing so well! Honestly, it's my pet peeve, don't get an animal if you aren't willing to learn about it.

Yeah, the first one I took in was a drug-addicted ferret. The previous owner would give it beer and blow marijuana smoke in its face. I rescued it, but it eventually ended up dying. I had 2 more after that.
