Children: One boy 8, twin girls 7. | Hannah Montana movie | | My girls who are almost seven want to go see this movie. It's Mylee Cyris (Hannah Montana) in concert and it's in 3-D. It's $15.00 a ticket. So that would be $60.00 for the four of us to go. I think it's crazy. I let them down and told them that we could do putt-putt golf instead. Are any of you taking your kids? |

Children: Jill born Jan 12, 1996 | Re: Hannah Montana movie | | My daughter wants to go see this with a half dozen of her (girl) friends. Since we have only 1 daughter is it only $15, and I beleive she's buying the ticket with her money. |

Children: 2 children, Debra Lyn, and Logan (Bubba) Michael. Due in July with #3 | Re: Hannah Montana movie | | at $15 a ticket I think we'll skip this one. My dd is just finding love for Hannah Montana...for the same price as the ticket I'd rather buy her a dvd with a couple of the shows on it

Children: Nichole | Re: Hannah Montana movie | | I would do it (if we could afford it knida thing) BUT I would make them earn the money to do it. If they have allowance then they can use that money, or if they don't they have to do extra things around the house to earn the money. |

Children: Hannah, age 6 | Re: Hannah Montana movie | | We're going to go.
When I was little there were four of us all close in age, and we never got to do ANYTHING. I mean, I didn't see a movie until I was 16 and could pay for it myself. If we did a family trip to the zoo or anything we never got to buy anything, and I never went on a family vacation until I had my own family. I hated it. So I probably do spoil Hannah a little on outings, but I don't think I go overboard. So as long as she stays on good behavior I don't have a problem spending a few extra bucks. Now if I were in a situation where I had to take several kids that would be a completely different story. |

Due in July with #3 | Re: Hannah Montana movie | | we aren't cheap...I just don't think DebraLyn would actually get $15 of enjoyment out of this movie...if it was like the show I know she would but concerts and backstage stuff would be over her head and she would get bored. That's the only reason the price would be an issue for me. other than that we take her to do all kinds of fun things without worrying about price.

Children: DD (10) and DS (12) | Re: Hannah Montana movie | | I wouldn't pay the $ to see the concert, but the movie is do-able. However, I'm happy to say that my kids aren't into Hannah Montana. They've seen the show a few times, but have said they don't get what the big deal is. LOL! |

For us it would be worth it if she was Hannah Montana crazy (and I think she will be eventually) but right now the money is still better spent on other things that she would enjoy more

Children: Jill born Jan 12, 1996 | Re: Hannah Montana movie | | I can understand if it is not in a parent's budget. In general we want our daughter to have various exciting childhood experiences, and going to Hannah Montana movie concert is one of those events she'll remember 20 years from now and all the fun she had with her friends. If she didn't go, it wouldn't change her life in any significant way, but we want her to experience these kind of exciting\fun events, just like I remember going to Disneyland as a kid. I think it also involves a sleepover. |
