Default help - my puppy pee'd on the couch!

Any advice on how to get the smell out? She was on some steroids for itching...and it made her more nervous. She was laying on the couch and leaked urine. I have tried shampooing the cover - but the smell is SO strong I can't stand to put it back on the couch. What will get this smell out??

Pet stores will sell a couple different "enzyme" cleaners that should take the smell right out. check out your local petsmart/petco type store.

Nature's Miracle works great for pet and human urine, feces and vomit.

I agree with getting an enzyme cleaner. I was a registered vet tech before getting pregnant. Also you may want to spray some of the no go stuff on it when its clean. It will remove all trace of the oder so that the puppy doens't use the same spot since he smells it. You can make your own with cayanne peeper and water

The enzyme cleaner is definately the way to go. I don't have a puppy but I do have boys in the house and using the enzyme cleaner around the toilet every now and again makes a huge difference.

I wonder if the no go stuff would help them too? LOL
