yep, tv is on pretty much all day for us, but we don't just sit and watch it either, its more background noise. Someone else in the house besides me kinda thing. Prime time I watch pretty much every night except Sat. but we also sit on the floor an dplay games most of the day and go for walk to see the horses down the road kinda things. Plus we go to the park like twice a week

Our tv is on all the time and I have been trying to turn it off whenever my wife and daughter are out of the house. If I am home alone or with the baby I try to keep watching tv to a minimum and if I'm not watching it I try to shut it off. I found that when I first starting turning of the tv I was uncomfortable in the house without any noise, but I forced myself to do so anyways. Before long, I found it nice to have some silence every once in a while. It hard to believe that the generation before mine, actually lived most of the time without a constant background noise. As for the shows I do watch: Scrubs, Simpsons, How I met your mother, Two and A Half Men and Bones. | ||

TV....? What is that??? LOL... I'm playing, as you can tell I don't watch much TV. Today is a good day I've gotten on the computer for longer than 2 seconds.. (grandmpa and grandma took my girls to the park today - then knowing grandpa they'll stop for lunch and than ice cream!!)... I'm not much for TV... I'll watch a tiny bit mostly the news (have to watch the weather). I would much rather watch a movie, I like movies much better... But I don't see much of those either... LOL...

Yes we tend to have it on in the background as well and sometimes it takes quite a while for me to realise its been on for ages and noone is actually watching it. Trouble is hundreds of channels and nothing really worth watching  | ||

lol we don't have that problem, only basic tv here. We live in the boonies so no cable! aaahhh!

CSI (all 3), ER, Casualty, Holby City, The Bill, Airline USA, Doctor Who, Torchwood, House, Shark and Loose women. And depending on what episode it is X-files. I record most of them (sky+ is fantastic) but Doctor Who and Torchwood are the only things we always watch as a family.
