Children: A one year old boy, Eli. | I Broke My Toe!! | | Lol it sucks. Really bad, especially with having an 11 month old that's half-walking-half-crawling at lightning speed across my house getting into things haha.
Can you believe how dumb this is? I was cleaning up my apartment a little, and Eli's walker (Which he doesn't use except to eat snacks off of) was sitting in the middle of the living room so I kicked it expecting it to roll to the other end of the room, but it didn't move. WOW I fell right over and could only say "Oh my goooood I think I broke my toe, I think I broke it, oh man I think I broke my toe" lol. And then I stood up and almost threw up. If I hadn't laid down, I would have puked. It was even crooked too, and I had to push on it to put it back the way it should be and when I did that it went POP! Yuck. I got an X-Ray and it's so gross to see how it's just snapped right in half. They gave me an ugly shoe that makes it easier to walk, but besides that and taping it to another toe, there's not much they can do for a toe.
You know what's funny too? When I came home, my neighbor knocked on my door to show me her two year old daughter's foot because the shower door had fallen out and landed on her big toe and SHATTERED it. Poor baby. I found it ironic that we both broke a toe in the same day though.

How scary is that about your neighbor. Good God the child could have been killed.
I broke my toe as a kid kicking a ball in the hallway of the house and missing. I guess God was paying me back for trying to kick a ball in the house.

I think she's thinking about taking the landlord to court, but I don't really know if that is gonna work for her.
