I've used this for years with my kids and just today someone from the EPA told me not to use it because it could be very dangerous for kids. Pesticides: Learning About Labels I did not know that.  | ||

Wow. I suppose it would make my tomato plants smell good though. :-(

This is what the a/c people told me to spray in the a/c intake to make sure there was no mold in the unit. I don't think they know. | ||

I was under the impression that bleach is the only household product that kills mold, and most bacteria. Lysol is only effective if you follow the instructions to a tee, which most people do not. Edited to add that I know that about Lysol and all other common household cleaners because when I took Microbiology a few semesters ago my prof. gave that to me as my project. I had to "grow" bacteria and then use the chemicals on it to see what worked. Bleach is IMO the only thing worth cleaning your house with. Dilute 1 part bleach to ten parts water and you have the perfect cleanser.
