- it's Family Movie night. The whole family cuddles on the couch to watch a movie. Great fun.
- I can stay up late because I don't have to get up early on Saturdays.
Speaking of Take Out, DH just came home from work with PIZZA. Yum!
Why do you love Fridays? |

-Kathleen and Nathan have swimming after school and I love going and watching with the other moms.
-We either go out to eat, or get pizza.
-It is "Casual Friday" at Adam's work, so I don't have to iron his shirt in the morning. |

He has so many meetings at the office that he doesn't have time to do work. Argh. He's actually next to me on his PC doing work right now. |

Trina, that is exactly why "No Meeting On Fridays" was created. The work is non stop, so to get actual work done, meetings can only occur between 10-4pm, M-Th. Otherwise good people burn out or quit. |

He said he tries to block off 2-3 hrs. a day as "unavailable" so that he can do work at work, but he still does a lot at home. |

The conference rooms are booked solid. Smaller groups have meeting in the various lounge areas (groups 6-7 people). Less formal meetings also get held in the cafeteria. And often when people attend meetings they have their laptop (we have wireless over the entire campus) and they are barely paying attention to what is happening in the meeting because maybe 10% is of interest to them. Half the time when I post messages in this forum, I am in a meeting that I must attend, but most of what is discussed has nothing to do with projects I am working on. |
